Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of the Sayborne application and related services (together, "the Service"), operated by DEVBLOOM PTE. LTD. ("we" or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Your use of the Service is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect and how long we keep it.

2. The Service

Sayborne is a voice keyboard. It converts speech to text, tidies up phrasing, and translates, inside apps that accept text input. Transcription and language processing run on our servers and on the third-party providers named in the Privacy Policy; they require a working internet connection.

Automated language processing is not perfect. Output may contain errors, and you are responsible for reviewing what you send. Do not rely on the Service where an error would be dangerous or irreversible without checking the text first.

3. Accounts

Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information when you register, and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

You may delete your account at any time from within the app, under Account settings. If you no longer have the app installed, you can delete it from our account deletion page using a code sent to your email address. Deletion takes effect immediately and cannot be undone; it removes or anonymizes your account data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Deleting your account does not cancel a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed by the app store, not by us, and continue to renew until you cancel them in your store subscription settings.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service to create or distribute unlawful, harassing, or infringing content;
  • record anyone without the consent required where you are;
  • attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the models or software behind the Service;
  • interfere with the Service's operation, probe its security, or circumvent usage limits;
  • resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties as your own product;
  • use automated means to place load on the Service beyond ordinary personal use.

5. Credits, Subscriptions and Payment

The Service offers a free allowance measured in Credits, and a paid Pro subscription. Current prices, billing periods, and what each tier includes are shown in the App Store or Google Play listing at the time of purchase; those listings govern.

  • Subscriptions are billed through Apple or Google and renew automatically until cancelled.
  • Cancel at any time through the store's own subscription management. Cancellation stops the next renewal; access continues to the end of the period already paid for.
  • Refunds are handled by the store under its policy, not by us directly.
  • Promotional codes may grant bonus Credits. Codes are single-use unless stated otherwise, may expire, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Credits have no cash value, are tied to your account, and are consumed as described in the app.

We may change prices or the contents of a tier. Changes do not affect a billing period you have already paid for, and we will make material changes visible before they take effect.

6. Your Content

You keep all rights to what you dictate and to the text the Service produces from it. We do not claim ownership of your content.

You grant us only the permission needed to run the Service: to transmit, process, and briefly hold your audio and text so that transcription, tidying, and translation can be performed and returned to you. That permission ends when the processing does. We do not use your dictation to train models unless you separately and explicitly agree.

7. Availability and Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service. Where a change materially reduces what a paid subscription provides, we will give notice through the app or by email. Maintenance, provider outages, and network conditions can interrupt availability; we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

8. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for a serious or repeated breach of these Terms, for fraudulent payment activity, or where required by law. Where circumstances allow, we will explain the reason and give you an opportunity to respond. You may stop using the Service at any time.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that transcription, tidying, or translation will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular use.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or ten US dollars.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the law that applies to you, including consumer rights that cannot be waived.

11. Third-Party Stores

When you obtain the Service through the App Store or Google Play, that store's terms also apply to your download and purchase. Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms and are not responsible for the Service. On Apple platforms, Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support, and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms with the right to enforce them against you.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. For material changes we will give notice in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore, except where the law that applies to you as a consumer gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
